The SmART Talent Hunt

A phenomenal show, that was born out of hard work, grit and mainly, the Dua Mubarak of our beloved Aqa Maula TUS! 

The SmART Talent Hunt art gallery was held in Najam Baug, Mumbai on the 25th, 26th and 27th of March 2022. Students from MSBs all across the world participated in the event with their unique collections of artworks on various themes and topics all across the board. Drawing inspiration from their heritage, cities, hometowns, animals, nature and many other stimuli around them; children from ages 12 to 18 created a series of articles rivalling those made by seasoned artists. 

All this was possible after a year-long journey made by the students under the guidance and mentorship of Janab Shk. Yusuf Bhai Artist. Students spent the year training in professional art techniques and building their skills in various areas of visual arts. 

The exhibition in Mumbai was a well-organized event, the gallery display was professionally put together. All selected work was mounted or framed and put up along with artist statements and synopsis of their articles. Overall, 400 artworks out of 900 were selected, each more beautiful than the other. 

The inauguration of the event was blessed by Mukasir - e - Dawat Shz. Qaid Johar Bhaisaheb DM. After a short Majlis, he viewed the artwork and spoke about the importance of art in education and how it ultimately should lead towards the Creator. 

Through the weekend, various dignitaries and major artists of the city visited the gallery and were awed by the level of professionalism in the work of all the students. The young creators were addressed by the likes of professional artists, politicians and other honourable invitees. 

We learnt a lot during the three days and received the sharaf of ziyarat in Mumbai, and had a lot of fun! 

The SMArt artists representing Bangalore were Arwa Seherwala, Hawra Rangwala and Nisreen Umrethwala. They got a chance to display their work and even sold their work to the collectors who visited the gallery. 

We look forward to more such events, which are well-received and well-loved by students, teachers and parents alike.
